The BASM-WEC project research team is proud to announce that Dr. Yang Huang recently participated in the prestigious 43rd International Conference on Ocean, Offshore, and Arctic Engineering (OMAE 2024), held at Singapore EXPO from June 9th to 14th, 2024.
Dr. Huang delivered an insightful presentation titled “Numerical Analysis of Structured Sheet Material in Flexible Oscillating Water Column Wave Energy Converter,” focusing on the application of structured sheet materials in enhancing the efficiency of wave energy converters. His research contributes significantly to the BASM-WEC project’s goal of developing adaptive materials for renewable energy technologies, particularly in wave energy harvesting.
